Academy of Global Health & Science

The AGHS hosts two pathways. Through a partnership with the Vanderbilt Center for Science Research, students have the opportunity to study Interdisciplinary Science & Research (ISR). ISR is similar to the School for Science and Math at Vanderbilt (SSMV), but instead of traveling to the Vanderbilt campus once a week as SSMV students do, ISR students are taught by a scientist-teacher team in a state-of-the-art science lab on the Hillsboro campus. Therapeutic Clinical Services is the other Pathway within the AGHS. Students who choose this pathway have the opportunity to study medical sciences and engage in coordinated learning experiences with Academy partners such as Vanderbilt Sports Medicine, Belmont College of Pharmacy, the American Red Cross, and the TSU College of Health Sciences.
