Academy of Global Health & Science
The AGHS hosts three pathways. Through a partnership with the Vanderbilt Center for Science Research, students have the opportunity to study Interdisciplinary Science & Research (ISR). ISR is similar to the School for Science and Math at Vanderbilt (SSMV), but instead of traveling to the Vanderbilt campus once a week as SSMV students do, ISR students are taught by a scientist-teacher team in a state-of-the-art science lab on the Hillsboro campus.
Therapeutic Clinical Services and Sport and Human Performance are the other Pathways within the AGHS. Students who choose these pathways have the opportunity to study medical sciences and engage in coordinated learning experiences with Academy partners such as Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Belmont College of Pharmacy, the American Red Cross, and the TSU College of Health Sciences.
Students in the AGHS have the option for dual enrollment in the IB Career-Related Program.

The IBDP pathway is open to any student who is motivated to learn at the highest level and who is willing to stretch and grow as an individual.
The Advanced STEM Applications pathway for students interested in science, technology, math, and science. Students in this pathway are encouraged, but not required, to participate in the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP).
