Burros Advance to Class 4A State Boys Basketball Tournament
With a 44-35 victory on the road at Hendersonville on March 6, the boys basketball team earned a trip to the state basketball tournament in Murfreesboro. They’ll take on Sevier County at MTSU’s Murphy Center on Tuesday, March 14, at 6 PM. Click here for tickets. (Ticket is for all games on the 14th, not just the Hillsboro game.)
Faculty/Staff Appreciation Lunch
The PTSO is putting together a faculty & staff appreciation lunch on Thursday, March 30. Let’s all show our wonderful teachers (and admins and staff) some love as the final quarter of the 2022-23 school year gets underway!
Our entire community needs to come together to make this work. First and foremost, we need LOTS of donations of food–chili, soup, salad, drinks, and more. See the sign up for the complete list. We also need a few volunteers to help with set up and clean up on the 30th. There’s a separate sign up for that here. Contact Stacey Cleghon (scleghon16@gmail.com) with any questions.
New Date for March PTSO Meeting
Our March PTSO meeting (originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 7) will follow the AIBDP parent input meeting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 8. Holding these meetings back to back will save parents the hassle of having to come two nights in a row. Please plan on joining us for one or both!
Parent Input Needed
An Important Message from Dr. Suzie Carter, AIBDP Principal
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We value your input and would like to gather your thoughts on the qualities you believe an International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator should possess. Your feedback will help us ensure we are providing the best possible education for our students. Please take a few minutes and click HERE to complete this survey. Although the survey will be open until March 20, this issue will be discussed at the parent input meeting on Wednesday, March 8, at 4:30, so if you can, try to complete it before then. Thank you, parents!
