HHS Alum Jackie Turner’s Name to Be Added to Gym in Unveiling Ceremony
Jackie Turner graduated from Hillsboro in 1948 and was the MVP for the girls basketball team AND the valedictorian that year. She was also the girls basketball coach for many years and played a major role in starting many of the girls athletics teams during her years at Hillsboro. This year, new signage will be added outside the Hillsboro gym to recognize and honor Ms. Turner. The unveiling ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 16, at 4:00 PM, before the first home game of the season.
