On Tuesday, April 4, at 6 PM, there will be a meeting to discuss safety and security measures at Hillsboro, both existing and possible enhancements. School officials and our school board representative, Erin Block, will be in attendance, and all Hillsboro parents, faculty, and students should make an effort to be there as well.

Volunteers Needed for Arts Showcase on Friday, March 24
Parent volunteers are needed to make the annual Arts Showcase a success. A variety of jobs are available; please check the sign up HERE to learn how you can help out.
Parents: Get Involved (or Stay Involved) in the PTSO Next Year
As we all know, a big part of Hillsboro’s success is its large and active parent community. We are starting to build out our PTSO team for next year, and we want to be sure that everyone who wants to contribute has a seat at the table.
There are many, many ways to be involved–big jobs and small, ongoing and one-time or seasonal, during the day or weekends/nights only. We just need to know what is of most interest to you and we’ll get everyone plugged in from there.
We are also looking for executive board officers, so please consider serving in that way as well. We promise, as long as we all do a little, no one has to carry too heavy of a load! Let us know what you’re able/willing to do, and please share this with any parents in your circle who have expressed an interest in being involved–feeder school parents who will have a 9th grader next year too. It takes a village! Click HERE to fill out the volunteer interest form, and thank you for supporting our school and helping make it a great place for our children and our community.
