As you may all have recently heard, Nashville has moved back into Phase 2 of the recovery plan for public health. Unfortunately, this means that the in-person graduation event that MNPS scheduled for July 20th must be cancelled. We are sad that we will not be able to host this event for you, but this is necessary for compliance with safety.
With this change, we are moving up our dates for pick up of several other important items for you. We will have your signed diplomas ready for pick up next week. There will be multiple opportunities for you to come pick them up. Please note that the graduate must come in person and sign for it. If you are not able to come sign for these in person next week, we will have other opportunities on the Hillsboro campus for this in August.
Seniors will also be able to pick up checks for refunds of senior dues or HOSA refund checks. Important to note on these is that they must also be signed for by the person who paid them. Therefore, if the parent wrote a check, then the parent must sign for the refund check.
We had hoped to have yearbook pickup at the same time as the diplomas and checks. Unfortunately, we have discovered an error in the yearbook that must be corrected by the vendor. No yearbooks will be issued until this error has been corrected. We will share more information on this when we know more.
Details on dates, times, and locations for diploma and check pickup:
- JT Moore Middle School bus loop
- Tuesday, July 14th 8:00am to 11:00am, and 5:00pm to 7:00pm
- Wednesday, July 15th 8:00am to 11:00am, and 5:00pm to 7:00pm
This will be a “drive by” style. You should drive up to the tent and stay in the car. We will have someone who will come to you to sign and deliver your items.
