Tomorrow’s Heart of Green Hills Spring Festival & Community Yard Sale is a GO from 9 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine! If it’s dry, we’ll be out in front of the school; if not, we’ll move inside or under cover. Here’s some information to help you get ready for the big day:
VISITOR PARKING: Please enter off Richard Jones Road (look for the American Constructors sign) and park along the south side of the main building (the purple areas on this map: https://wearehillsboro.com/campus-parking-traffic map).
YARD SALE: Donations to the yard sale will be accepted TODAY (Friday, April 12) from 3 to 6 PM in front of the school. If you are planning to sell your own stuff tomorrow, we would appreciate it if you would pre-register here. However, sellers can just show up tomorrow around 8 AM. We will collect the $25 fee at that time and show you where to set up. Goodwill will be hand to collect any unsold items that you wish to donate to them.
FESTIVAL INFO: Other activities include health screenings, a blood drive, and a prescription drug take-back (safe disposal of unused medications to prevent drug abuse/overdose and keep our waterways clean). There will also be food trucks and a kids’ zone. And it’s the grand opening of The Flower Basket, the seasonal plant retailer that sprouts up on our campus every spring with a great selection of hanging flower baskets, flowering annuals, tropicals, herbs, and ferns.
Think dry thoughts and see you tomorrow!
