As our teachers return from winter break, they are likely finding their classrooms in need of crucial winter supplies like Kleenex, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer–not to mention actual school supplies too. We don’t want teachers to have to spend their own money on supplies, so parent donations are very helpful. If you are able, please go to this Amazon wish list and kick in an item or two.
Semester exams start on Friday, December 15. Remember that exam days are half days, and as on all half days, dismissal is at 10:35. Here is your exam schedule:

Jackie Turner graduated from Hillsboro in 1948 and was the MVP for the girls basketball team AND the valedictorian that year. She was also the girls basketball coach for many years and played a major role in starting many of the girls athletics teams during her years at Hillsboro. This year, new signage will be added outside the Hillsboro gym to recognize and honor Ms. Turner. The unveiling ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 16, at 4:00 PM, before the first home game of the season.
