Proctors Needed for IB Exams April 25-May 17
Administering all of the required IB exams at Hillsboro is a huge undertaking! In order to do this in compliance with the rules, there must be a certain number of adult invigilators/proctors in the room for every test. Even if you don’t have a student taking exams, this is a great way to help out if you have time during the school day. It is easy and mostly consists of monitoring students as they work. Special PTSO Meeting to Discuss Capital Expenditures
The PTSO has been working behind the scenes this year on some larger improvements to our building and campus. We now have plans for some beautiful new landscaping AND some graphics and signage for inside the building. Because these capital expenditures are not part of our annual budget for the year, we need to take a vote of the general body before approving them. That’s where you come in, parents (and teachers and students)! We will be holding a special PTSO meeting on Tuesday, April 16, at 6:00 PM to vote on these items. Please make plans to join us!
