Couldn’t Make It to the Parent Coffee for Your Student’s Academy? Here’s What You Missed.

During the week of August 15, parents of students in the IBDP, Business, and Freshman academies learned about the unique opportunities, resources, and supports available in those small learning communities. See below for links to the presentations given at each parent coffee. (The Academy of Global Health and Science will hold its parent coffee on August 25, at 7:30 AM.)

School Supply Drive

As we all know, teachers are often required to spend their own money to acquire supplies for their classrooms. Let’s help ease that burden by purchasing supplies from the PTSO’s Amazon wish list! Click HERE to visit the list. You can have items shipped directly to our supply drive coordinator, Stephanie Durham (note: in order for Stephanie’s address to show up as an option, you must only have items from the wish list in your shopping cart), or you can drop supplies off in the front office or at Back-to-School Night on August 30. And don’t forget to use Amazon Smile whenever you shop at Amazon (and choose Hillsboro PTSO as your donation recipient). Shopping for teachers AND earning money for the school: a win-win!
